Statement regarding the Novel corona virus COVID-19
As with all businesses, both within the UK and globally, Dana SAC UK are managing how we best respond to the current outbreak of the Novel corona virus, COVID-19; its impact on our staff, our customers, and our suppliers. Our principal priority is to maintain the safety and health of staff, customers and suppliers at all times. We have therefore implemented strict safety measures and are following all government advice, to ensure we can operate safely throughout our operations.
Our intention through this period is to maintain a service level to all our customers while we can operate safely, within government guidelines, and our customers require us to do so.
Our business continuity plan is intended to minimise disruption to our business and that of our customers. We have implemented a number of measures, to protect our staff and our customers, with 100% smart remote working for all our office staff and restricted Workshop Personnel on both sites to enable strict social distancing. The measures we have taken ensure that staff are protected, and we can reassure our customers that they still have the support from Dana SAC UK and the stock and service they need:
- Customer service, Aftersales service, Technical and Engineering support are all available to all our customers.
- Our Warehouse and our In-house Service teams are functioning at both our Warrington and Scunthorpe sites, where staff are segregated and operating to strict Dana and government guidelines regarding safe working and social distancing.
- We have safe procedures in place for goods in / goods out, again working to government guidelines.
- Customers are able to access stocks both from within the UK and from the global Dana SAC network.
- Service and repair of gearboxes and winches of all manufacturers continues to be available from both our sites in Warrington & Scunthorpe, where we continue to deal with all requirements from standard maintenance to emergency repair.
- We are offering total support in all aspects of our business for all our customers, by phone, email and Skype.
We all know that this is a fast-moving situation and, as such, we shall issue further statements as necessary, as the situation develops. In uncertain and rapidly changing times, we are here to support our staff and customers, and to help keep critical sectors operating. And, in line with Dana’s philosophy, now more than ever we are absolutely ‘People Finding a Better Way’.
