Brevini Fluid Power consolidates their well-known brands for single source specification

Specifying single components within a hydraulic system from different suppliers can be a time consuming and involving task. Not only does each component need to be checked for application suitability, it also needs to be checked for compatibility with the rest of the system. Brevini has now brought all of the groups own hydraulic power brands under the umbrella of Brevini Fluid Power, to help customers source an entire system solution from a single supplier; reducing purchasing and integration costs, whilst improving reliability and efficiency.

Investment in UK Operation to Increase Capacity for Brevini Power Transmission

Brevini Power Transmission has completed the first stage of its development plan which will eventually see its two UK sites undergo expansion to increase its warehousing, distribution and gearbox servicing capacity. The initial investment was spent at the Scunthorpe location to optimise the gearbox service centre and expand the offices to create space for product training for
customers and graduate employees.

Gearing up – making the right choice of gearbox design

Selecting the correct design of gearbox for your application can be a crucial decision that will affect performance, efficiency, reliability and cost. So, having a good understanding of the basic principles and suitable applications is essential.

British Companies Have a Duty of Care to UK Engineering To Further Develop Graduate Training

It has always been the case that fresh out of college or university; engineering graduates have knowledge gaps which can only be filled with real world experience. However, with technology developing at a rapid rate, these gaps are becoming ever wider as courses are expected to cover more ground. Rather than lamenting failing standards in education, maybe it is the job of companies operating in the UK to develop more graduate training programmes, to make sure that the wealth of experience that our established engineering force has is passed down to the new generation.

Dave Brown, Sales Manager for Brevini Power Transmission, explains how graduate training programmes can improve the individual performance of recently qualified engineers while also maintaining the standard of UK Engineering on the world stage.
